From the parents:
Rowan cooked for us the other night and
it brought tears to my eyes. I can't thank you enough for the
special consideration you gave Rowan and your kind words the
day of the parent luncheon. (My husband filled me in!) Obviously,
you really know your profession! - cooking and caring for kids!
Warm regards,
Rhonda
My daughter has been to over two dozen different
camps. She just finished telling her cousins that Vanilla Beans
was the best camp
she had ever been to!

This has been such a postive experience for Rachel.
She has learned a lot about different cuisines while learning how
to use
utensils properly and practice table manners! What a great combination!

Becky has felt very empowered by being treated as
though she were a real and capable cook. She was so excited to
be making 'adult'
foods!

I feel Dana is learning lifelong habits for a healthy
lifestyle. Thank you!

My daughter has always loved to cook. Thanks for
teaching her about the importance of cleaning the kitchen as she
cooks!

From the kids:
We prepared a New Orleans Cornbread
Salad that I thought I would HATE! But I actually LOVED IT!
Isabella

Snack Challenge was AWESOME! I'm going to make the
best snacks after school next year!
Susanna R.
Now I know I can try new foods without pouting.

I liked cooking foods from different countries each
day. It was cool to eat the same foods that people eat from all
around the
world.

I didn't think I would really like the bruschetta
because I can't stand to eat peppers, but the roasted red pepper
bruschetta with
goat cheese turned out to be my favorite
course on the Italian day.
Natalie C.
I never even tried an avacado before camp. I actually
really liked it, especially in the cobb salad!

I didn't realize how much I could learn about napkin
folding, table manners and etiquette.
